Without the Primary Air Channel pictured at the right, the inner
tube (not shown) would shut off the special valve stem and not let it
pass air to and from the tire's air chamber. However, the Air
Channel Walls create an Air Channel through which the special valve
stem can inflate and deflate the tire to your desired pressure.
For photographic clarity, the specially notched valve
stem is shown turned 90° wrong so you can see its air channel*.
The proper mounting position is 90° to this as explained in the
Install Manual.
